I am with you but they have a mediocre QB they have to prop up. Expect a skill player at 26 unless someone like Carter from Georgia ends up in free fall.
Carter from GA isn't getting out of the top-10, will probably still go top-5

That's why I don't want him, I don't see how he helps much.

Is he better than Noah Brown? Well yeah, but that isn't saying anything nor does it really help the offense.

Gallup will be much better this year and they can draft someone, or perhaps sign another free agent. I also think Jalen Tolbert will be ready this year.

NO
Darius Slayton
WR, New York Giants
Slayton is a familiar name for the Cowboys after multiple years in New York. Both Noah Brown and T.Y. Hilton are expected to walk and Slayton would be an excellent addition on the perimeter. He’s amassed more than 700 yards receiving in three of his four campaigns and would provide Prescott with a three-level threat that wouldn’t cost Dallas a pretty penny. CeeDee Lamb can do a lot, but he can’t do it all, and Slayton has the veteran chops and experience to holster a nice target share.

YES
Bobby Okereke
LB, Indianapolis Colts
Just 26 years old, Okereke will be a popular name this spring. A four-year contributor for the Colts, he’s got a ton of experience in coverage and would provide a young voice at the lungs of the Dallas defense. 2022 fifth-rounder Damone Clark and hybrid defender Jabril Cox remain in town, but Leighton Vander-Esch, Anthony Barr, and rotational athlete Luke Gifford are all expected to entertain the open market. Okereke fills a need.

DONT CARE EITHER WAY
Michael Hoecht
IDL, Los Angeles Rams
A massive sleeper in the free agent class, Hoecht started every game for the Rams toward the tail of the season and impressed, to say the least. He recorded 23 pressures in the final seven weeks of the season with five sacks and 15 hurries—who knows what type of production he could have if awarded a full workload. A former UDFA out of Brown in 2020, he’d be a cap-friendly addition for the Cowboys that could outplay his contract within the first few weeks of the season.

^ That actually is not terrible.

Okereke would be a great add, especially if lose LVE and Barr goes away as expected.

They could do better than Slayton, but he would be a significant improvement over Noah Brown and he wouldn't require a break the bank deal to get. He also isn't a circus sideshow like that turd OBJ

listen, in the america i live in, having the all 22 on tv in the background while youre blackout drunk still counts as watching film
If you want to truly impress Universors with your keen draft intellect, you need to learn the proper internet scouting guru jargon like Zoners at CZ. Examples:

1) It's not watching YouTube clips or film, it's "watching the tape" EX "after reviewing Jones' tape, I find him very intriguing"

2) When discussing a prospects chances of success or failure, its not "upside or downside" it's "floor and ceiling" EX "Dak Prescott's ceiling is not very high, but he has a solid floor"

3) When talking about specific position groups on a team, you need to refer to the "RB room" or the "WR room", ex, "hey guyzzz, how are we going to rebuild the RB room this season?"

Adapt some of these in your commentary and we will all be blown away and worship as the guru that you are aiming to be.

While true, the Zoners pale in comparison to the We are smarter than you and know more than you arrogance of that select DC Central crowd.
They make zoners look like humble, modest sheep imo.

While I'm aware Bbgun frequents both this and the DC Central site, at least he does not come across as a know it all asshole couch GM that the others are on that site.

Just my opinion.

DCU has a resident man on the inside... or how does it go... a man who knows a man on the inside (works for the team)

cant remember his name, maybe Rynie ?... he had the cartoon archer as his avi and he posted once every few months. now he stopped completely since having a kid

i wonder what his track record was on his info vs. what actually happened

YES
Trade for DeAndre Hopkins: The Arizona Cardinals WR is being shopped and could immediately bolster the Cowboys' receiving corps.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
Sign Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency: The former Los Angeles Rams WR comes with injury concerns, but he could inject new life into Dallas' passing attack without breaking the bank.

NOT GONNA BE THERE AT 26, BUT IF HE IS, SURE WHY NOT
Draft Jaxon Smith-Njigba: The 2023 NFL Draft is low on receiver talent, but Smith-Njigba is the one who could conceivably make a big impact from Day 1.

thats awesome so you will take a pay cut ?

I almost don't blame Dak. Jerry paid him like a franchise and the reason we're not winning anything isn't because of his salary. It's because of the QB they paid.

Having said that, Dak is a sensisitive fuck as well. He's the QB of the highest profile sports team. He's going to get the light shined on him all day, every day. Some guys can handle the pressure. Others can't.
