Well, it's not. 10mb is the attachment file size limit for images. That's huge even for all of today's professional HD digital cameras. I could make that a bunch bigger, up to 130mb which is the server upload limit. But I'm not.

We were on the whole twitter thing. Please experiment viewing twitter embeds in threads, using different browsers.
I’m not sure what to tell you then. Because I just tried uploading a screenshot and received the error msg stating it was too large

Then I took that exact same screen shot and cropped it, then tried to upload the same image that was cropped and it worked as you can see in the above attachment.

I’ll test the twitter posts on the other browser and see if that works

By the way, I re-downloaded twitter on my phone and logged (for the first time since 2013) just to see if the tweets would load in the twitter app when I clicked on them and that did not work

And yet, you posted an un-cropped image earlier, in another thread.

Ok, so it seems that the issues are with the add on Mozilla browser when it comes to twitter

The links act like they are broken and do nothing when I click on them

But when I use the Safari browser and click on a link it now opens in the twitter app

But before I downloaded the twitter app it would act like it was broken the way it does in the Mozilla app

But the tweets do not load natively in either browser

Hopefully this new info helps

Ok

I just got the Safari browser to upload an unedited screenshot

So it appears that the issue is now only with the Mozilla browser

I know three people including our sysadmin, who use the newest iphone. I will have them test for this twitter issue also, and see what's up.

The media add-on that I had on the test board isn't installed here yet. Don't know how much browsing around you did on the tester, but it might help to go there and see how tweets behave. I'll open it back up so you can try that, for experimental purposes.

Maybe my 20 years' experience working with forum software and encountering such problems many times, actually helps? (Nyuk-Nyuk)

Here's a thread on the test board with lots of embedded tweets:

It works fine with Safari but not with Mozilla
Well... We really didn't learn much since you have the twitter app installed, we don't know if you're having it work because of that, or what. You said before Safari didn't work for twitter here either, until you installed the twitter app?

Correct

Twitter did not work with either browser before I installed the app on my phone

I would see the link for the tweet, but it would not load in the app automatically and nothing would happen when I tried clicking on the link in either browser

Now that I’ve reinstalled twitter on my phone the tweets will open the twitter app and load in the app separate from the browser when I use Safari

But when I use Mozilla it still acts the same way. Nothing works and the link is a dead link

Guess it would be too much to ask for you to uninstall that app, go back to that thread in the test site and see how Safari behaves with tweets. You can always reinstall the twitter app.

So I can determine if the media addon I'll be installing would help with this issue.

Ok it seems to be working fine with safari even without the twitter app installed

But the Mozilla browser still doesn’t work
