What this tells me is Leary just isn't the RKG. Because the RKG when he gets beaten from his starting job, shuts his mouth and fights scratches claws harder. He gets better, gets in better shape, gets stronger, learns the job more and becomes expert in all nuances of it.

Instead, Leary is demonstrating a prima-donna, entitlement mentality. A my way or the highway type deal. And he wants more money for this?

sad to say that was a lot more common years ago. In this day and age you will find very few that have the grit and determination to go that route.

Other teams manage to either find these guys I speak of, or mold them. Was my point. You really think a Belechick for example, gets this crap from a player?

He got it from Lawyer Milloy, Deion Branch, Richard Seymore, and what was that CB's name that ended up in Philly? There is a common thread amongst these guys though. Bill shipped their ass out of town. He gets it from players he just doesn't put up with it.

Right, I should have made it more clear.

How many dudes who are marginal at best and who get beat out of the starting job by a rookie, does Belechick get this from? LOL

The truth is Leary has very little value outside of the Cowboys and the sheep who think everything with a star on it is magical. My guess is that the Cowboys called a few teams, asked for way too much, and teams laughed at them. Another thing the sheep won't like to hear is that Front Offices around the league have very little respect for our wannabe GM.

I hope they can trade him but I wouldn't do it just to get rid of him. If someone offers a 3rd or 4th I'd definitely take it. Anything less and we should just wait and let him sign elsewhere after this season, and take the comp pick we'll get the following draft. I hate having the guy on the roster just for the sake of insurance but if we lost Martin or Collins he can be a solid starter.
