Only if Romo is the placeholder for the FG. No one wants that.
If the situation were the same - great plays by Romo get us down to their 3 yard line with only a few seconds left and down by 2.... I think we punch it in. QB draw, Romo scores.

I'm not sure which I'd prefer but having Romo hold would be ballsy as hell (& probably stupid but I'd still love it).

Just get to Seattle and beat them any way possible and I'll be on cloud 9

How fitting would it be for Romo to get to the Super Bowl by beating Seattle and have it happen on some highlight reel play that gets played over and over for years like the catch or Romos bobbled snap

I want Witten and Romo to hoist the Super Bowl trophy at least once before they hang em up, they deserve that.

I think the Cowboys need Seattle and Arizona to lose.

Just curious, how do you feel about this team? You were rooting for the Cowboys to lose all season. What are your expectations currently?

This was my impression of what the team could have been doing under Romo all along if Garrett was never the coach here. It took completely stripping Ginger of responsibilities for it to actually work out, but I'm happy for sure. It's nice to see Philly fans suffer and I love that Romo is finally getting praised nationally. He is MVP in my opinion.

It's also nice to see Romo haters eat crow and prove how stupid they are in general.

I think one can hate ginger and still enjoy the team. My hopes were to lose badly all year so that he gets fired but he's been neutered enough to where he doesn't even matter.

^ Exactly. This could have happened before if not for his mindnumbingly stupid game management and playcalling. If one or two of those games aren't botched, the team could get on a little roll like has happened now instead of always staying at the .500 mark. Once the team wins a few of those and starts gaining confidence, this can happen.

If anyone deserves credit, as much as people hate to admit it, it's Jerry. He recognized Garrett was overwhelmed (or simply not good) and took playcalling from him. He fired dbair's favorite Rob Ryan and hired Kiffin/Marinelli. He wanted Romo to have more say. He recognized how good Callahan was and kept him even after Garrett got pissy with him.

All good moves. Maybe it was 90% luck, but still, all good moves.

Surrounding your underqualified, inexperienced HC with a bunch of former HCs helps too.

I think Stephen has Jerry under control. I think he actually has a plan and seems to make less riskier moves.
