7th rd pick DT Ken Bishop was released today to make room for LB Keith Smith again.
Heard Korey Toomer was released mainly because he sucked ass on ST. I missed the entire first qtr of last weeks Seattle game due to ridiculous local TV sticking with an OT game that they didn't even broadcast from the start, but reportedly it was Toomer who blew it on the blocked punt Seattle had.
I was hopeful about Bishop, but he never flashed much (other than one hustle tackle way downfield I remember from PS). I think this shows they think a lot more of Davon Coleman and also that Josh Brent has a pretty good chance of playing once he is eligible to return.
