Yeah that's what gets old. Not the constant mediocrity and the one constant in the past 17 years.
I don't believe in constants. I like tacos. I like jorts. <toohostile>

By the way, Jerry said that Leary would be ready for the first regular season game and Jerry is a doctor.
Jerry likes to use the Ravens for justification on his picks. It makes him feel that he is on the level of Ozzie. You know, a real GM. I remember him saying that the Ravens had a high draft grade on Matt Johnson. I would be willing to bet that Ozzie tells Jerry this kinda shit and laughs his ass off when he hangs up the phone.
. Dallas is the only team in the league that injuries has zero effect on their quality of play. Their starters are scrubs and there is not any drop off in talent level to the scrubs that are waiting to replace them. Bernadeau or Arkin? Does it really matter? BAd luck that a guy with injury red flags out of college got injured
That's what worries me most. Seems everytime him or Garrett proclaim something as "minor" or "not a concern" it goes from "a few days off" to "precautionary MRI" to "out a week"...to "he'll be back in a month" to "well unfortunately his season is over:
Now Claiborne has underwent a "precautionary MRI"
The players today are bigger, stronger, faster, have access to better nutrition, and technology, and drug... but seemingly as a result, they are far weaker.
Another thing that doesn't make sense is that players will go all year knowing that they need surgery, but they wait until right before training camp starts to have the procedure done. Who in the hell is making these decisions. It happens with two or three players a year. That's what worries me most. The team is run by a bunch of fools. They continually make poor decisions and then people are upset about our bad "luck". Reminds me of my idiot brother in law that dislikes working and now is getting kicked out of his apartment because he can't pay the rent. He was bitching about his bad luck the other night and I hung up on him.
Get well soon Leary. We need you.
I don't know what kind of player he will be ultimately, but I do know he is vastly better than Bernadeau, Livings and Arkin.
