Looks like Mr. 4th And Long is about to become Mr. Hollywood.

The entertainment news site Deadline reports that Sony Pictures has acquired the rights to a movie about the life of Jesse Holley, who won a reality TV show competition that eventually earned him a spot on the Dallas Cowboys.

Holley was the winner of the 4th And Long reality show hosted by former Cowboys great Michael Irvin. The winner got a chance to try out for the Cowboys in training camp and Holley managed to stick with the team for two seasons, 2010-11.

Irvin is an executive producer for the movie project, which will focus on Holley's life growing up in poverty and working as a security guard before realizing his NFL dream.

Holley played receiver but was mainly a special teams contributor during his time with the Cowboys. His best season was 2011 when he caught seven passes for 169 yards and no touchdowns.

Holley's most famous catch ended up a yard shy of the goal line. He hauled in a 77-yard pass in overtime at San Francisco to set up the game-winning field goal.

The movie's script will be written by Randy Brown, who also wrote the baseball-oriented Clint Eastwood film Trouble With The Curve. The film will be directed by the team of Dan Lindsay and T.J. Martin, who together won the 2012 Oscar for Best Documentary for Undefeated, about a inner-city high school football team.

Really?

Um. Why? Oh because he worked as a security guard?

How about making a movie about the guy who lost to Holley but still realized his dreams and is still making plays for the Bengals despite only being 5'2"

I mean, I'm all for feel good stories where people overcome adverse situations. But there's plenty of better examples of that in the NFL.

For example, did you guys know Dez Bryants mother sold her ass for crack?

Rumor has it that the last 35 minutes of the film will be his big play in SF and the sun worshiping that followed.

You remember that Libya video? Whenever I hear something associated with prostitution, all I can picture in my head is that hooker and her toothless, fucked up mug talking about how she'd fuck a guy for a dollar. Shit gives me nightmares. Walking dead lady just talking about fucking for singles. Most terrifying shit I've seen in a while.
