I could laugh off a 2-14 season. As a fan you know you have a few of those coming to you. But This romo shit is soul-crushing . It goes beyond liberal fags "oh boo-hoo your favorite sportsball team didn't win the grand slam".

Brady also doesn't have to deal with a dumbass designing plays.

There were a handful of plays last night that were absolutely fucked from the word go based simply on design.

Rolling Romo out to the same direction and behind the RB, essentially making Romo a QB in the Wildcat was fucking retarded.

Was that fake overhead snap direct to Demarco the first trick play we ran successfully all year?

Or at all? I don't count end arounds.

Just because I lay pipe at your moms house doesn't make me a plumber.

If you've ever played poker, I'm sure you've heard the pressure breaks pipes expression.

The Vikings ran that exact same play against Green Bay. I guess scoring that TD to Peterson was retarded.

How well should Romo play with cracked ribs?

Depends on which rib was cracked and how bad.

It could have been quite painful, or it might have only been painful with certain moves or pressure. There's also the possibility that it might not have had any effect on his performance. I really didnt notice any noticeable change in the way his throws looked from that point going into the 2nd half. Looked pretty much the same as early in the game all night to me.

I am pretty sure it was painful just breathing in and out. The fact that he was able to play and you didn’t notice a decline in play is another testament to his toughness.

I was thinking the same thing. The guy's tough, but he's the biggest primmadonna in the NFL.

Have about 15 minutes before heading out if anyone has any more questions on Cowboys ...

‏@DCUforums
@SullyBaldHead Why does Tony Romo play like a dickhead in big games?

‏@SullyBaldHead
@DCUforums Had to chuckle at that one. He's won a lot of big games. Was very disappointed Sunday night, not defending his performance.

DCUforums
@SullyBaldHead He's the best player on our team, no doubt. But he seems to crumble in pressure situations and in loud stadiums.

Look at NE. Name a superstar on that team but for Brady really. Players come and go there yet they pile up the points. We don’t pile up the points save for panicky two-minute drills when we fall behind. Brady can put the team on his back when the D or running game ain't working; Romo can't.

Thats the problem right there.

Jerry and Co. act like we have our own Brady back there and surround him with shit and expect him to carry the entire organization. He's not that guy and he never will be.

Brady also has an all-timer at HC. Not exactly a Phillips/Garrett type.

They pile up points because of Belicek. The Patriots could be up 53-0 with two minutes left in the game, and Belicek would still be trying to score more points. He's relentless. When you have an HC like that, you don't have to have your QB (Brady) put the team on his back and try to mount comebacks. The Patriots play with a lead and continue to add to it.

Belicek enforces his players to play 60-minutes of football; because he coaches 60-minutes of football.

Fall behind...? We're always behind. And no way, could Brady put this team on his back with this Oline. When have you ever seen Brady running for his life on nearly every play?

Point taken on Brady my fuckin dick.

Welker is a fuckin stud
Hernandez is damn good
Gronk is the best at his position in the league.

The fuck you think he's playing with? KO and Harris?

Lets not even talk about their Oline

This is a great observation. Contrast Belichick's style of coaching to Garrett's approach to end the 1st half Sunday night. Speaks volumes.

Even when Garrett coaches aggressively, it's out of sync.

Well just go back last year when the Cowboys played the Patriots on the road. The Cowboys were up by 3 POINTS... with 3 minutes left in the game. What does Garrett do? Does he try to eat up the clock by moving the chains in getting first downs? NO. Three straight run plays right up the gut and into the teeth of the Pats' defense. When has Garrett ever called three straight running plays either before or after that? We went three and out.

Pats get the ball, and Belicek marches the ball down the field. He wasn't looking to get 3-points to tie the game, he was going for the TD to win, and he got it.

Garrett had shut it down, and thought that he could sit on a 3-point lead with 3 minutes left agaisnt the Pats on the road. How fucking stupid? Even Jones publicly called him out on that.

All of you think that Garrett should have went for the FG near the end of the half against the Redskins, but I ask why? He probably would have iced Bailey anyway.

I’d throw in Brees, Manning (the good one) and Rodgers can carry a team, but even in their Super Bowl seasons they had alot of help. Usually a play making defense. But if Brady is the standard and measuring stick, then yea, Romo doesn’t measure up.
I'm not gonna go tard on y'all and say Romo is on the level of Brady....

BUT.

The Patriots haven't had the level of talent they used to have, and even Brady hasn't won a Super Bowl in 8 years. Belichick is regarded the best coach in the league by most, Brady the best QB in the league. But if you don't have a complete team around those guys, they don't get it done. Their defense has been awful for the better part of 5 years.

Good point. Romo is not able to carry a team like the elite QBs. Fans would hate to see Romo leave, but they should remember what Kitna did while filling in for Romo. Kitna won games. Romo is not the answer to carry this team to the Super Bowl. He folds under pressure. The problem is that he is just good enough that it is going to be hard to replace him. The person in charge of the QB search doesn't have a good record of finding QB talent. Dallas may not get to a Super Bowl with Romo, but I am scared as Hell of the replacement that Jerry will find. This is a damned if you do, damed if you don't situation. Another QB can win in Dallas. I just don't trust Jerry to find him.
