mb4 is another good draft guy.

I realize that this thread is not about that, it's about Bob being called on his crap, but still I'm all about draft talk.

sbk hated Watt by the way...was relentless going after him here

Way back on the ESPN boards, he was all over Rashaun Woods around 2001 or so. Said Woods was a Irvin-clone.

But we're all wrong from time to time. Hell, guys who get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars whiff on these guys, so obviously joe-fans like us are going to have our hits and misses.

Also, in sbks defense, was he really against Watt? I seem to remember he was mostly making jokes about the guy being white.

At least I haven't remembered something cmd said more than 2 years ago.

lol

2 things:

1. Watt's whiteness will catch up soon.

2. Putting people on ignore is gay.

I was really wanting Andre Wadsworth back in 1998.

Most people dont remember, but so was Jones.

Jones made the Cards what was a ridiculous offer at the time to move up from our spot (8) to the Cards spot. We offered our 1 & 2 that yr (the 2 ended up being Flozelle Adams) and our 1 the following year.

The Cards said no, and the comment by their then GM (name escapes me) afterward was "did they think we were just going to hand them the Super Bowl?"

Ellis was the 3rd DE drafted that yr, and ended up being by far the better player. And Adams was a really solid pick in the 2nd.

True dat, no. 2. It's even gayer when they announce it like wgas. It's like, "go back to lurking, you pedo".

I had never heard that story before.

Wadsworth could've been great, but he had bum knees. Did he get those bum knees in the NFL, or was that a concern leading into the draft.

Also, I only remember the Rashaun Woods thing because I didn't follow the draft that closely back then, and I was intrigued by the guy. Mostly because of the Irvin comparisons.

The only other person I remember sbk92 going to bat heavily for was Terrell Suggs, and he was spot on with that.

We definitely should have taken Suggs instead of Newman, but then we probably don't draft Ware. We draft Spears, and he sucks. Always has, always will.

How he was raised.
