Cowboys get a break in the schedule, and it starts on Sunday against the Browns

The Cowboys get a break in their schedule to end the season. They’ve already played six of their eight road games, and now five of their last seven games are at home, including the next three.

That’s certainly beneficial considering the Cowboys, starting with Sunday’s win at Philadelphia, are playing three games in 12 days.

The Cowboys will host Cleveland in a noon game Sunday at Cowboys Stadium, then host Washington four days later on Thanksgiving Day.

Last season, the Cowboys had to play at Washington on the Sunday before they hosted Miami on Thanksgiving Day.

Despite having to travel on the front end of a short week, the Cowboys won both games. They defeated the Redskins, 27-24, in overtime and four days later won against Miami, 20-19.

“We played in Washington last year and got home pretty late at night and had the quick turnaround. That Thursday game comes quickly,” Garrett said. “Your Monday practice is kind of a walk-through and you’re just trying to transition as quickly as you can to get ready for the game and before you know it you’re out warming up before the next game.”

Playing at home next Sunday “certainly helps,” Garrett said. “It helps our preparation. We’ll be that much more ready for Monday’s practice.”

To be honest, I'd rather play on the road.

Yep. Our fans on the road are much better. The rich fags who can afford tickets act like they're watching a tennis match at Cowboys Stadium and they expect everyone else to act the same way. Probably 60% of them don't have a clue about what they're watching.

It's depressing isn't it?

Yes, it is. Hopefully next season Jerry will lower ticket prices so diehard NFL fans can go to games and not these rich fucks who act like they're going to see an art gallery.

Common sense

Doesn't look like DeMarco "not injury prone" Murray will be playing this week.

What's the deal with Murray. I haven't heard what he's injured with and am too lazy to look it up.

These injuries are piling up with him. Same with Austin.
