- I'm not going to read too much negative or positive about this game. It's a divisional game, and they're always a dogfight no matter how bad or good each team looks. That is something that I always take for granted.
--- - There is this phenomenom with this team that baffles me. Whenever we play a team with a glaring weakness - be it a depleted secondary, a backup QB, an offensive line in disarray etc... we can never exploit this. I don't know why that is.
--- - I feel like we got extremely lucky this game. Almost like we stole one. We got a TD pass that SHOULD'VE been ruled incomplete (Dez). We got a punt return for a TD where the most blatant non-called block in the back penalty took place right where Harris caught the ball. We got a pick six on a very flukey, ball bounces around off shins and elbows and just hangs in the air play. A lot of lucky breaks.
--- - Still another game where the offense scores less than 20. And at no point was the no huddle given a look. Why is that?
--- - Was it me, or was Romo getting more animated/frustrated than I've seen in a long time. You know he hates his offensive line. They are killing him. Three step drops and he's smothered. That Houdini play he made was vintage Romo, and I hate that our best plays come from him having to do that. Get the guy a pocket, ffs.
--- - Speaking off Oline, I'm really hoping Ryan Cook isn't starting next week. Hats off to the guy. Great acquisition IMO. Give up a 7th rounder for a guy who starts a few games and does a decent job from time to time. But the longer he's in there, the worse he's looking. Give Kowalski a look.
--- - I know Felix had a decent game, but I still hate that guy. He's so lazy. You can see the natural talent - and he'll pull a Martellus - go to another team next year where he's "the guy" and he'll be a fantasy freak. I'll take that risk. Ship him out.
--- - Bruce Carter is better than Sean Lee. Am I crazy for suggesting that?
--- - Bad two week stretch for Claiborne. I don't want to be knee-jerky, but after he had to hold Riley Cooper, the first word that came to my mouth was "bust." I don't think that's the case, but he's not as good as I had hoped he'd be. Of course, pick 6 nothwithstanding, neither is Carr.
--- - Glad to see Peprah on the field and deliver a big hit. I love McCray on special teams, but that should be his role only.
--- - Overall, a satisfying win. I hate the Eagles so I like the idea of burying Reid and Vick. Glad to win a division game and get off the skid.
