Veteran receiver Antonio Bryant will try out with the Seattle Seahawks during the team’s mini-camp this week, which begins today, Eric Williams of the Tacoma Tribune reports. This according to a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed.
Bryant, 31, has been out of football for two seasons. His last full season was with Tampa Bay in 2009.
After his stint with the Bucs, Bryant signed a free agent deal with Cincinnati, but was released before the start of the 2010 season because of lingering knee issues.
A second-round pick by Dallas in 2002 out of Pittsburgh, Bryant played three mediocre seasons with the Cowboys before being traded to Cleveland.
After two seasons with the Browns, he signed a four year, $14 million deal with San Francisco.
On Oct. 19, 2006, Bryant was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, speeding, reckless driving and resisting arrest.
