I kind of agree. It's usually cooler when you have a more demanding coach such as Parcells. But they all eventually get stars regardless of how hard they work.

I dont care either way, I liked it when parcells did it. he had basically torn down the we are all a bunch of celebrities atmosphere by keeping jerry in check. that worked till 06.

I dont think it really makes sense at this point because garrett is not reigning in jerry in anyway. The circus is full on, nobody on this staff can stop that.

What I do find dumb though like stated earlier is the timeclock thing and even worse is when wade phillips made all the players sign a letter that they would not commit penalties during the week in 07 after burnett got the personal foul when he got into it with brandon jacobs.

that is simply the dumbest thing I have ever heard and it was perfectly matched to the wade phillips/jerry jones style of authority. It was wade phillips trying to one up parcells everytime something good happened by saying here is how I do it. parcells was constantly saying I dont coach penalties so wade had to do something because the media wouldnt shut up about it, so he had them sign a letter saying they wouldnt.....its like what someones grandmother would do.
