Why have the Giants had such dominance over us recently?

Comfort, complacency, laziness. All of those stem from no competition being brought in. The attitude that everyone is "safe" is devastating to a team's attitude. I mean, no consequences for bad play, or even the remote possibility that you could be replaced out the window cause players to not give a damn.

The coaches have very little to fear either. Especially the golden boy, Garrett.

So, yeah, it's a big part of why Austin ran the wrong route.

That is exactly why this team has sucked for the better part of 16 years.

It all seems like common sense to me, but it's not something Jerry seems to comprehend.

Are y'all hating on the Nick Saban NFL coaching tree?!

Garrett does not NEED Dallas, ok. He could likely be a QB coach at his choice of up to 2 FBS programs. He's very qualified and legit.

Two offseasons ago our roster looked way different than it does now. The entire line is different, our interior LB corps is changed, new WRs, safeties, kicker and more.

We have an almost entirely new coaching staff.

The problem with your gripes is that they contain no facts and are just based on how you feel.

Hakeem Nicks couldn't catch an Arnecia in November. He plays us and suddenly he has stickum and is vaulting over DBs.

He suffers from an occasional case of the dropsies, but it's not like he doesn't burn other teams too.

And how long did it take to even make a bid in those areas outside of a bandaid here and there? And what we have done on the line wasn't fixing anything. We brought in scrubs that are on the same level or below what we had. You're right we have an awesome GM. It must be something else tht is the issue. After all we have rolled through 5-6 head coaches in the last 17 years and still can't win. So it can't be the GM.

He's a good player no doubt. I just remember before we played them last year he had some huge drops in big situations. They were floundering. They play us, find their swagger. And even with that, we still had them seemingly put away. I don't think we relaxed, or everyone was sitting on the sideline thinking even if we blow this Jerry won't be mad...we just didn't execute. Didn't have the confidence or swagger or whatever to go out and make plays and they did. Brandon Jacobs did the sprinkler and air humped us all. Noone seemed to care. Whose fault is that?

I'd take actual football reasons (an actual NFL-caliber HC, a D that steps up when needed, etc) over "bad luck", swagger, and the boogie monster.

They beat an 18-0 team, solid offensive teams like GB, and a good Pats team again after deucing on us during their Super Bowl runs. That's not by accident.

I'm not guessing.

I'm going to second that
