Drafting is getting the best players you can, we know who has done best at that.

Arguing it would just make you look stupid.

So if they are drafting all these pro bowlers and have been doing so great at bringing in talent why haven't they consistently won? You said it yourself they have drafted the most pro blowers in the last several years. If the talent is there what could be causing them to lose? Dare we say, coaching is the problem?

They're pro bowlers because they fight. They scratch, they claw. They don't need to win.

Its not Garrett, thats for sure. Ask any Garrett sunshine pumper and they will confirm that. As a matter of fact, Garrett is such a great coach he's overcome the worst misfortune in the history of sports to get this team to do as well as its done the last 5 years. No other coach in the world could have done as well as Garrett has done under the circumstances. NO coach could have done any better. Even Belichick would prob go 0-16 if he was dealt the hand Garrett was dealt in those 8-8 years.

Of course, its never mentioned that Belichick went 11-5 with a young inexperienced Cassell at QB, while Garrett couldnt win a game with him as an experienced veteran.

It's funny that I've got a response from a few of you but haven't got one from the person I actually posed the question to.

I thought the thread was about drafting...

But injuries have killed this team more than anything.

Nope. Leadership has.

Or lack thereof.

I have to agree leadership (lack of) has been the main culprit. Every team has injuries. The teams with the best leadership tend to overcome those injuries. The Cowboys on the other hand have crashed and burned.

And can deny even knowing a team that was gutted like this one was. Pro bowl caliber qb, wr and rb? Try harder old man, this bullshit wont fly.

Stop with the injury shit. QB was gone for all 11 losses in the 1-11 run. WR was gone what 2 of those? McFadden was top 5 in the league in yards. Try again, homerboi.

LOL

The excuses are strong with 2015. When all that really happened was the exposure of really bad coaching and preparation, weak depth on the roster, and piss poor management.

But look on the bright side - our 8-8 team only lost 4 additional games after being "gutted." LOL

There's actually been fairly relevant history of teams gutted with injury making the playoffs and doing well. Wasn't Green Bay one of the most mangled teams the year they won the Super Bowl? Didn't New England go 11-5 after losing Tom Fucking Brady? Who QB'd that team... oh, Matt Cassell. The guy who can't win here. Pittsburgh has been eaten alive by injuries several times the past few years yet still wins.

Our RB didn't get injured last year. We didn't resign him. He's not an excuse. Team thought we could win without him. And his replacement put up 1400 yards.

Dez didn't miss that much time. Teams lose WR's all the time.

Losing Tony hurt. But if you go 1-11 without him then you're team is far too dependent on one player and is coached poorly, as well as the roster being constructed poorly.

I mean... Jason Garrett was a back up QB in this league. A former QB coach. Yet he can't identify a back up QB? Get the fuck out of here.

Keep using injuries as an excuse, though.

Do you even watch football? I mean, like do you understand what is happening and what is going on? Has your family recently given you a button to wear in case you fall and can't get up?
