This is about the worst field I can ever remember. Republicans are in total disarray and the Dems have a lying, crooked biatch and a lunatic avowed socialist.

Sad times.

Wasn't one of the biggest criticisms of Obama that he didn't have enough experience to be President? The whole community organizer thing?

But Trump was really cool on The Apprentice...

I'm not really a Trump supporter, but at least he does have experience running something, making important decisions, surrounding himself with quality people and a track record for success.

Are there any candidates, from either party, that haven't been inadequate duds in any recent election?

Such a depressing field

Yeah there was. I would have preferred Giuliani, given his ability to transform NYC from an intolerable shit-hole into a great city to visit. He didn’t take any shit as AG and he wouldn’t have as President.

Trump plays that tough guy card, but he has no skins on the wall to prove he can do anything other than sell himself and I have no doubt it will work well for him. It’s always style over substance.

So does Jerry Jones... should he be President?

I already know your answer.

I think I'd rather have him running the country than running the Cowboys.

Good point. I support him because he is nota Washington insider . I hate the damn government. Trump's massive ego will not let him fail.

Trump's support is kind of interesting in a way.

He's more or less said he would attempt to replace Obamacare with Universal Healthcare, and he's said he would raise taxes on the wealthy.

2 positions that gets Bernie Sanders labeled a "socialist".

Just reaffirms my belief that the two party system only serves to divide people along clearly distinct lines for political and personal profit of the elected.

I'm not sure Rubio doesn't win Iowa.

He's such a slimy douchebag. I'll vote democrat before I vote for that asshole.

When his name is on the ballot, will Ted Cruz's name be "Ted Cruz"? Has he had that legally changed?

If not, seems like "Rafeal Edward Cruz" should have to be there as "Ted" is not a contracted form of either Rafeal or Edward.

I mean, doubtful a hypothetical race with Bruce Wayne would allow "Batman" on the ballot.

I actually like Rubio. Not sure if I'll vote for him but I don't think he's 100% "slimy" in political sense. He seems to understand foreign policy much better than the others.

When Rubio talks, he's fake, IMO.

He's got politician mouth. Fuck that guy. It's just the way he comes across to me. I don't believe a word he says. Especially on that gang of 8 shit. He still won't say he's opposed to amnesty. He says "we can't even talk amnesty until we prove to the American people that we can fix illegal immigration. Then we'll see what Anericans decide."

Thats basically more bullshit.

No. Anyone that came here without doing it legally, gtfo. Period. Moratorium on immigration until you fix the immigration system so it benefits the people of this country. No amnesty for ANY illegal. Change the stupid anchor baby policy. How stupid is this government we employ? "Hey, if that Mexican(or whatever ethnicity)broad shits out that baby on our soil, we gotta claim it.". How about no. How about send them both back as soon as she can stand up. It's time to be smart. Stop with the bleeding heart shit.

Letting people come in and immediately allowing them to suckle the tit of entitlements, that's fucking dumb. Bring some people over here that will be productive citizens. Tax payers maybe. What a noble thought.

I've thought since the last election that Rubio was the best hope. Agreeing with all the issues means nothing if the guy can't get elected, and I think being non-white is a huge help with that.

I don't like the immigration leniency either, but the fact is, it might be necessary to get the Hispanic vote of the future.

At any rate, I know he'd be a zillion times better than Hillary or the avowed socialist. If we go 12 or god forbid 16 years straight with a Dem in office, this country as we know it will really be screwed.

Immigration should be, IMO, the biggest driver of this election.

That single issue being solved would help in so many other areas.

I seriously would probably vote for Hillary just to say I voted against Rubio. Rubio, Jebrah, and Christie. I don't want any of those shitheads.

We've got a lot of issues in this country and immigration is just one of them. I agree on entitlements and I can't for the life of me understand how we allow folks to legally immigrate and then allow them on the government tit. The same for illegal immigrants. How are you here illegally and still allowed to receive entitlements? Insane....

But the economy is another issue and our current administration has all but destroyed small businesses. It pisses me off when I hear that shit bag POTUS talk like the economy is just chugging along and folks have jobs to support their families. These people in Washington live in some fantasy land void of any reality. The price of goods and services has skyrocketed in recent years and it just seems there's less and less money left over for discretionary spending.

At this point, I'll vote for whoever the Republican nominee is because I know the alternative is worse. All the current presidential hopefuls have issues and question marks. The more I watch and listen to Cruz, the more I cringe. There's just something about him I don't like.

I dont think so, there's too much enthusiam behind him. His crowds are huge. Even some democrat election strategist they interviewed the other day that said hands down regardless of party, that Trump was running the best campaign so far.
Trump's unfavorable rating is 60%... higher than Hillary, and the highest unfavorable rating of anyone who has ever been polled on unfavorability.

If true, it just says eons about how incredibly ignorant the voting masses are in this country.

That said, he is getting enormous crowds and it seems the consensus is he is running a good campaign.
