I don't blame Jerry for wanting to overpay for another safety. And I don't normally stick up for him that much.

Elam seems like a given...his ties to Ryan seem to make him a lock for Dallas. Goldson could cost, but he is young, so it might be a good investment, although Pool is the same age and should cost less.

It's looking more like Elam/Pool. And they're not in a hurry to sign either one, because they want'em for the right price.

Plus, they both know Ryan's defense. System players.

Norm just said the deal with abe elam is going to be done sometime today.

He also is killing the team for resigning all of its players from a 6-10 team. So for those of you that hate the team, jerry and most of our players...tune in and get your jollies.

The Cowboys lost 6 starters in 2009: T.O., Greg Ellis, Zach Thomas, Chris Canty, Anthony Henry, and Roy Williams, and then didn't sign any big name free agents. And the same bitches that more than likely whined and moaned about it, are at it again?
