I only buy New Balance all terrains. If I'm walking on a sidewalk and there's something blocking the way I can just step to the side on any terrain and keep going.

I couldn't be more happy with them. I think they were like $60.

I wish I had read this thread like 2 days ago. I was walking down the sidewalk and some old lady with a bunch of grocery bags was in front of me walking really slow. I tried to go around her on some grass to the side of the sidewalk, but it was muddy and I got stuck. Really wished I had some all terrain shoes at that moment.
