Looking at 2011 salary-cap figures

I've got an idea, let's knee-jerk and teeth gnash over something that no one really has any clear idea on.

What about Davis and Colombo? Also, I keep hearing that we may take a $12 million cap hit if we release Roy.

$6m and $1.9m. Roy's contract has some strange language in it dealing with bonuses and guaranteed money. He was paid $12m last year so that might be what they are talking about.

Thing is, that is not the salary cap figure for 2011. Nobody knows what it will be. Yasinkas just took a number from 2009 and applied it as an estimate.

Doesn't matter what the salary cap number is set at. It only matters if those numbers given are accurate. Because if they are, then just about every other team in the league has a boatload more to spend than the Cowboys. Whether the cap is 140 million or 160.
