Face painters are crazy, fool. We need more crazy.

One of the radio guys was saying he's literally crazy. He talked to teammates at both Carolina and Ole Miss and they said he's a little strange but you can live with him when he's on his meds (no joke) but when he's off them he can do anything. They said in college he'd literally quit on the field at times and have to be taken off.

This dude is a big SEC homer who loves McClain, and even he says he wouldn't touch Hardy.

Supposedly the Carolina coaches and players love the guy. Rivera wanted to keep him and was apparently overruled by Richardson.

I've watched like five Panthers game in my life. How good is this guy?

11 sacks and 15 sacks in his last two full seasons. Had one season with 11 passes defensed.

Only played in one game last yr but had 4 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in that game.

Had 4 games in those two big yrs with at least 3 sacks in the game.

Have no idea who this guy is or his track record, but he says a deal with Hardy is going down tonight with the Cowboys:

Greg Hardy to The Cowboys is Almost a Done Deal

March 16, 2015

Things have been a head scratcher this off-season in Dallas, but that could possibly be changing in the next twenty-four hours. The Dallas Cowboys haven't been able to sign many free agents so far, and on top of that, players have been exiting the door. Needless to say, the Cowboys need a signing that will help bring up morale, Greg Hardy could be that signing.

Hardy was nothing more than a pipe dream for the Cowboys a couple of days ago. Reports were stating that Hardy was all but signed with the Oakland Raiders. As the famous Lee Corso would say, "not so fast, my friend." Reports broke out that Hardy is in the negotiation process with the Cowboys organization, and us here at Barn Burner have gotten wind that the contract will be signed before tonight is over with. Of course things can fall through, a good example would be what happened with the Eagles, and Frank Gore. But, our sources have stated that it's very unlikely that this contract falls through.

Hardy only played one game last season for the Carolina Panthers due to being convicted of assaulting and threatening his ex-grilfriend. The charges were dropped once the defendant declined to go before a jury, and even missed the court date. The Carolina Panthers were a scary defense, with Hardy and Luke Kuechly being the major focal points. The Cowboys are aware that Hardy could be suspended for the first six games this upcoming season, so that might be a factor in negotiating a contract. For right now Hardy remains a free agent, by tomorrow it looks as if he will be a Cowboy.

Hopefully, if we sign him, he will rip people's helmets off and beat them with it.

We've been through this RKG-thing before, but people still misunderstand what it means.

Charles Haley and Michael Irvin were, under Garrett's definition, RKGs.

RKGs are not necessarily nice, stable, morally upstanding people . RKGs are guys who are basically psycho about football.

Ronnie Lott, cut your finger off, crazy about football.

Jason Witten, play with a ruptured spleen or broken jaw, crazy about playing football.

Tony Romo playing with a cracked back, crazy about playing football.

That's Garrett means by "RKG." It has nothing to do with behaving appropriately with women, children, animals, etc. It has to do with a player's passion for the game and desire to win. Nothing more than that. ... It isn't about being moral or ethical.

Good enough to have a whole defense team at CZ devoted to explaining how a guilty verdict doesn't actually mean anything because the charges were dropped. Never mind that hush money was exchanged, that first guilty verdict is basically meaningless.

Ya know, because judges are so shitty at their jobs that returning guilty verdicts is basically a coin toss.

One of the most adamant defenders calls a bench trial nothing more than the process to see if a "real" trial is warranted. Like the DA couldn't figure that out on his own. Also, a definition that could basically apply to any level in the court system for which the appeals process is available. What's that mean, only the Supreme Court is the "real deal"? If all others can be appealed, they must just be filters for the higher level.

Well, it never meant "choir boy". So they say.

I guess it never meant anything. You have addicts, quitters, thieves, and would have women beaters with Hardy.

Right Kinda Gangster.

:like

They should just admit they don't care if he's a scumbag as long as he can play. Much more honest that way.

Which would make sense if morality was a rarity in the NFL. There are plenty of solid guys......like Witten and Romo.

If RKG doesn't include any sort of moral compass, it's a fucking useless criteria because you're football loving asshole could be sitting out a few games at any moment, which by any definition imaginable would make them a fucking waste of time.

You just don't want to get your hopes up, and then let down. I understand,

Eh, it'll happen or it won't.

I can can just see them parting ways over a million or so a year, then we read two hours later that they signed another fullback, and also signed a reserve linebacker named Rizbang Juppner for $2.5 mil a year.
