Nornally you see in NFL game broadcasts, close-ups of crowd sections. Not tonight.

There was a time when sports broadcasting had some credibility, stuff like this would be shown and talked about. Now the networks are just lapdogs for the commissioner and the league overall.

Yep, 100% true

It's really sickening how they are cow-towing to that sack of shit.

LOL at Stephon Gilmore

Just imagine the reaction of Cowboy fans had we paid him that kind of money and he got roasted that badly for a 75 yd TD

For those who doubt it or think it's just towels. Captured this right after the last KC touchdown - NBC can't find any crowd shots that won't include these shirts, this one was incedental. The KC players were celebrating. Look in upper left hand corner of the pic, four of these shirts together.

That's now 4 or 5 accepted penalties on CB Terrance Mitchell tonight.

CZers in their game thread have been talking about what an awesome game he is having.

In case you don't remember, Mitchell was a 7th rd pick of the Cowboys.

So that's the ex-Cowboy that got stiff armed/pancaked earlier

The Chiefs may end up with 20+ penalties tonight.

Also, how can that 2nd punt where the Pats splattered the kicker NOT be roughing the punter? Instead they called it the 5 yd variety (that was two plays in a row)

Did NBC just do an extended promo of the Cowboys/Giants game and not show a single play of Zeke Elliott?

They hedged their bets in case he was still suspended

Or because they assumed he would be

You really think they put that together two weeks ago?

Yeah I don't think they did either, and even if they had the announcement Zeke would play came a few days ago.

Get ready, the SNF broadcast will probably be a 3 hour+ infomercial supporting the league's side of the Elliott case and just a total cock slobberfest of Goodell by Michaels and Collinsworth

I know it's only one game by the Pats, but maybe CMD needs to 'splain the virtues of spending tons of money and making all sorts of moves in free agency again for us.

NFL ratings for season opener down 12%

4th straight year of decreasing ratings for the league season opener.

TV Ratings: NFL Kickoff Game Ratings Down From 2016 As Patriots Lose To Chiefs | Deadline

I wonder how the ratings will be after Sunday's games?
I'd guess the Giants-Cowboys game might draw a good audience. Seeing a lot of people posting about boycotting the NFL over the national anthem thing and even some rival fans kicking Goodell's ass over Zeke's suspension among other things.
OTOH, the league's populariry may have just plateaued. It happens.

I hope it goes down like the Titanic because Goodell, his croanies in the league office and owners like Mara deserve it. Hope it costs them billions.
