Duh, you only need to run the route about 8 yards and then you can run for the extra yards, It's not like it's ultimate frisbee or parcheesi.

And that is the brilliance of Jason Garrett. You don't call plays that have deep enough routes to get the first down. His play design calls for short routes, break two tackles, run for TD. When the players didn't break the tackles, they simply weren't executing.

And speaking of, and omegsupreme might appreciate this tidbit from Broaddus; but he was saying today that Terrence Williams didn't drive hard enough on the route in the 4th quarter. He stopped it like 3 yards short and Broaddus thought that wasn't what the play was calling for.

And it doesn't stop there, its not enough that the fans are miserable with this season, they have to insult our intelligence with the continual BS about Cassel giving them the best shot to win and compete for the playoffs when any fan with half a brain can clearly see the payoffs ain't happening & what's best for this team is to get the best pick possible and give playing time to every guy on the roster that has a chance to be part of the team going forward.

Because gawd knows for this team to have a shot, they have to field the highest number of superior athletes because they'll never have superior coaching and definitely never be superior in the GM department.

Clearly the Cowboys organization knows those are a very rare breed. Continually filled stadium and about a billion annually in swag sales after 20 years of abject mediocrity, tells them that. Five minutes of reading at CZ or C-F, tells them that.

So you would rather have him sit as back up knowing he can't play. But have Linehan keep him around simply because he "really likes this kid" and sees something in him that apparently no one else sees

As opposed to actually putting him in a game this season with nothing on the line and letting him fail so there is zero speculation as to his lack of talent. Thus allowing us to move on from him and look for a better replacement!

You'd rather him sit as a back up and wait till next season is on the line when Tony "made of glass" Romo goes down again and we are counting on him to come into a game and win for us?

I have zero confidence in Moore especially after seeing an interview with him about possibly getting a chance to play soon. He looked like a scared puppy that just shit on the rug in the corner who was about to get caught and have his nose rubbed in it
