Dez Bryant awaits rematch vs. 'kinda cheap' Eagles
11/28/2014 11:05:41 AM

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said some Philadelphia Eagles players were "being kinda cheap" during the teams' NFC East showdown on Thanksgiving Day, Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas reports.

And because of that, Bryant and some of his teammates can't wait for the rematch.

"I'm really not mad at all," Bryant said after the Cowboys' 33-10 loss on Thursday. "They beat us and I'm going to accept that, but [expletive] can't wait, but not looking past Chicago [on Dec. 4], but I cannot wait to go up there and play [Philadelphia] again, cannot wait."

Bryant finished with four catches for 73 yards and no touchdowns in the loss. He got into several confrontations with the Eagles' defensive backs that led to him sporting a busted lip. Bryant also said he was elbowed in the hip.

"They were being kinda cheap, that's another story," Bryant said. "It is what it is, I'll get it cleaned up and I'll be fine."

STFU, Dez. You have really good hands, but you're worthless for 59 minutes most every game. Go out tonight and make some really bad decisions, beat your moms ass again, get caught with cocaine, rape a woman.

Anything to make sure you're in a different city next year. Paying you would be an extreme waste of resources that would set this team back at least 3-5 years. Not that it's going anywhere anyway, but still.

I hate the "we'll get them next time" mentality of our current players.

especially since we don't actually get them the next time.

You don't get this game or the Redskin game back. You have to win when it counts.

I'm hoping for a curb stomping in Chicago. 8-8 would be the perfect collapse to get a new coach in here that actually brings something to the table, well, other than dress code and cliches.

And right, they won't get them next time. All Philly has to do is play their game. As long as Kelly shows up and calls plays, it will be another embarrassment.

I believe u will, Dez, but u seriously need 2 focus on the mistakes your team made that caused this horrific fiasco; focus on Sanchez, Macklin and McCoy; these guys are dangerous and can score big points, so when u play them again, make sure u bring your A game!

Listening to this press conference of cliches right now. Total joke.

Even as I type this.. "Learning experience in all three phases."

"We did some really good things in the game."

Like what?

Only thing worse is this press corps of suckups.

I hate him. A repeat of the Chicago game from last year would set some good things in motion.

I hope conditions are similar. Dallas looked like they had no interest in being there last year. It was pathetic. Could happen again.

Ironically we are right back to where we were last year at this time.... 7-4 looking at December snarling at us.

The only hope we have is Romo stays healthy through a collapse. If he comes up lame at any point, Garrett gets a pass.

Ouch.

But look, I have been expressing my doubts about this guy, talked many times about how all you have to do to take him out of the game as a defender is make it about him by taking "cheap" shots and trash talking him - he gets busy trying to win THAT battle instead of finding a way to get open. When a opponent truly wants Dez out of the game, Dez is out of the game.

It's a really bad character flaw he needs to clean up, and that starts by shutting his dicktrap and just doing his fucking JOB on game day.

That I believe comes from years of Carrot Top clapping after a missed FG or a turnover, saying "that's okay we'll get 'em next time" like a frikkin idiot.

NO IT IS NOT OKAY AND NO YOU NEVER DO GET THEM NEXT TIME.

He reinforces bad results and behavior by clapping about it, patting butts and saying it's okay.

Ok, so Dez said they would get them next time...what do you want him to say? I mean seriously, i dont get the outrage. Its one game, they play them again. Dez is a great player and he has to be more involved in the game plans.

^ Yep Dooms and Sheik.

Plus what does Garrett do after bad performances? Passes the buck, blames his QB, and otherwise refuses to take responsibility. A legend like Bill Parcells can stand up after the game and on his own initiative say, "I'm embarrassed to put a team on the field that performs like that". But Mr .500 Jason Garrett? Naw. He's the smartest guy in the room so it has to be someone else's fault.

So maybe its no surprise his people follow that lead.

Scandrick is about the only one who said, "They came in here and kicked our asses in all areas and that's unacceptable." Good for him.

I want him to shut his dicktrap and get the fuck to work. And stop letting the defenders gaslight him.

He is ALWAYS involved in the game plans, he simply isn't always involved in the GAME.

Players have to talk to the media or they will get fined. Besides what he said isnt a big deal. Romo was throwing ducks last night. The whole offense was off.

I don't know if Dez is worth the money it'll take to sign him to a long term contract.

He can be pretty great, of course, but at some point this team needs some raw speed.

You're not the only one. How would Jerry justify extending Garrett after FOUR 8-8 SEASONS with missed playoffs? This will make the 5th straight year for missed playoffs.

This is where I am hoping Stephen gets in Jerry's ear on this.

Zero winning seasons, since Jerryworld was opened.

I just like typing that.

I believe Jerruh is emotionally married to Dez and don't in any way expect a good business decision to be made.
