Yeah, the last few months it seemed like every few days the site was down, then one day it just ceased to be. For the best. At the end it was pretty much Bone, Cythim, Cr122, myself and one or two others posting.

Kinda like this forum. I wonder when the plug is getting pulled here?

I don't know the reasons for CC shutting down, but I don't see any reason I would shut it down.

I mean, if we got to the point where we didn't have a single post for over a week, like I've seen happening at a few cowboys forums, I'd probably say f it and end it. By then nobody would really care anyway, right?

Or if I died. I'm not sure how any of you would know the difference, though.

I think I'm a little too young to have a will. If I did have one, I'd leave the forum to Laz and Plymkr.

Your sweet, sweet ab muscles?

Have you shared those awesome pics of yourself here yet?

I told you to take that shit off your bathroom wall. Do it now!

But if this place gets bigger, maybe I'll do it. Incentive!

I started off on ESPN Cowboys messageboard. At that time, I was known as ASBESTOS. I think I was among the earliest members, I believe back in '98. At that time there weren't many people but the Cowboys board was the most active. There was this lone Eagles' fan and he hung out on our board. He was pretty cool. More and more people started coming onto the board and it was pretty active. Then in 2000, when the Eagles won the division, after being the doormats for a longtime, their board exploded, and they started coming over talking shit on the Cowboys' messageboards. I knew Midswat and Bonecrusher from way back then. Me and Midswat were tag team partners ove ron the Redskins' board. We gave them all kinds of shit and fits. And sbk was pretty cool back then, nothing like the POS that he is now.

I got banned on there. A new format on ESPN was made. Then I became spellbinder. And continued to do the same shit over still in terrorizing Redskins' fans. Got banned. Went over to Extremeskins to take the fight to them, lasted only one day. Then went over to CowboysCentral. Got banned from there, because I along with others made fun of the little shit with the Napolean Complex (TexRich) for his photo where he was wearing this Macho Man (from the Village People) black leather vest. I also told him that he looked like the lovechild of Fred Savage (from Wonder Years) and Herve Villechaize (Tattoo from Fantasy Island). That's when I found DCFU, and was only on there.

I then went back to make my presence felt on ESPN once more, and then I snuck back onto CC under the name redman. Got banned from there by the same little shit (TexBitch), in an act to appease the resident Redskins' fans and attract more Redskins' fans. Noty soon after, CC shut down. Then I hung out fulltime at DCFU. And then went back to ESPN and became LAZARUS_LOGAN. And now I am here.

I have been a member of Pro Sports Daily forums for a few years. Tried joining cowboyzone with my bro but was banned even before him for cursing during a game. Went back to PSD until I was told about this place.

Tell us a little about where you are from. What boards have you been a part of? What boards are you still a part of? What boards are you no longer a part of?

?????

Thank you, and welcome to DCU!!!
I started at alt.sports.football.pro.dallas-cowboys over on USENET (does anyone remember USENET groups?) and Dan Smith's COWBOYS-L listserv (does anyone remember listservs?) back around 1994-95 or so. I stayed on USENET and the listserv for years, avoiding the web-based discussion groups because there were (and still are) too many of them. But as spammers took over USENET and as the traffic on the listserv died off, I was forced to join the web forums. I don't post very often at any of them but when I do it is usually at CowboysZone or True Blue.

All of my history has been at the DCC. I think it was 2004 when I started posting there.

DCT was decent in it's heyday.

And by, in it's heyday, I'm clearly referring to when HITR94 (I'm midswat, ya dumbasses . . .) & TheyCallMePapi ran that place, and the entire DCC cast (save thorn, sbk92, and mschmidt) fled to the forum, forever swearing off the DCC in the process.

I have no idea what in the hell you are talking about.
