I started out at TheCowboys.net and then moved on to CowboysZone when it became that. I posted there for several years before being banned by project rat Woody'sGirl. I became a member here right before that happened thanks to an invite from Bob. I also go to CF sometimes, but this is my favorite board.

I came to this forum because I can talk football all day long and never get tired of it. I love the game. I live it, breathe it, have a passion for it. After receiving a few PM's asking where my handle comes from, I thought I should explain it here. 2 was my jersey number in high school. H.O. is my initials. "Style" is comes from my once scoring four touchdowns in a high school game, and a player on the opposing team telling me he really liked my playing style. My teamates overheard that, and the nickname stuck.

I consider myself a friend to all Cowboys fans. Go Cowboys.

I posted on ESPN briefly and was told to post at CC, where I spent time off and on until it went under. Then I found CZ, where Bone found me and told me about this place.

Did the members every get any notice that CowboysCentral was going under? Or did you just try to log in one day and find the plug was pulled?

It was sputtering toward the end of it's life and then it just stopped working. It took a few weeks before a message went up saying the plug was pulled.

Funny thing is, the owner had been trying to sell that site for a while. I know of a person who offered him 1k for it, and he decided against it. Then I think he tried to sell it to Texrich. And then I guess he just let all the domain & licenses expire and got nothing for it.

My wife wanted me to buy it but I had absolutely no desire to actually run a message board. I prefer to piss off mods instead.

Yeah, the last few months it seemed like every few days the site was down, then one day it just ceased to be. For the best. At the end it was pretty much Bone, Cythim, Cr122, myself and one or two others posting.
