No, but he is better than what we have there now, and what we've out there the past few seasons.

I've already said if we take him, I hope it isn't at 18. Isnt my favorite player for us in the first, but if we got him somewhere in the 20's because the OL we liked were not available, it wouldn't be the worst move they could make by any stretch.

I think its an awful comparison. Elam was painfully slow and couldn't cover anybody.

Trade down most likely but...

I know you don't like him but I'd probabaly go Werner and protect ourselves from losing Spencer in a year.

I have thought that Werner would be a solid pick in the first to replace Spencer. It would help with the cap, they would get younger at the position and they wouldn't have to worry about Spencer's level of play going backwards after a big payday. There are worse options for sure.

Show me a draft where 5 OL were taken in the top 17. Seems like there is people that don't want the Cowboys to draft an OL, and so they move the goal posts.

If we were at 17, we'd be hearing that so-and-so would not be there at 17.

If we were at 16... same thing.

This draft is nothing like last years. Very weak at the top and no franchise QB's or other elite franchise altering players.

That's why its likely (IMO, and the opinion of others I've read) that this year will be a very heavy OL draft at the top.

Adam Schefter is saying there's a good chance Warmack slides on draft day. Specifically mentioned he very well may be available for dallas at 18

The guy from draft ace, supposedly the best mock drafter out, says there's a better than 50% chance Warmack is available for Dallas. Says cooper probably won't be around and says if Warmack gets past SD, he will be there for dallas.

And none of those players are impact players that make it worth sacrificing two roster spots for one. You trade up for Dez, and possibly Mo (we'll see). Not these guys.
