Would you trade up for Cox?

There is no one in this draft I would trade up for. We need 2 immediate starters and hopefully 2 or 3 future starters out of this draft.

If given the choice between trading up to say 9 for Cox, or 11 for Barron, I'd move up that far for Cox.

Yet you would want to trade out of the chance to draft a blue-chip player.

You're a funny bird.

Again.. Similar value in the 10 through 20 range. Barron or Brockers at 14 isn't great value to me. Barron at 21? Much better.

Trading down more brings more in return. I'm not going to pretend to predict the exact pick we would/should/could trade down to. 27 is about as low as you could go and still grab a "blue-chip" player who comes in, starts or contributes for us, and improves a position. 27 is probably too low for Barron because teams apparently are over-evaluating him right now. I also have no idea who the Cowboys really like. They may think Brockers is perfect at 14. I just don't agree.

Chris, my dude, you're slippin!

How...I like the depth in this draft. I think that after DeCastro and Cox, the value is pretty similar from our pick to the lower part of the 1st round. I'm not trying to make exact predictions.

How much would you be willing to give up for him?

Like the player, but probably wouldnt trade up to get him and if I did, wouldnt be willing to part with anything more than our 4th or 5th to move up a couple spots to do it.

Mark Barron
Courtney Upshaw
Michael Brockers
Dre Kirkpatrick

Cox, but he'll be gone.

Just to be clear..you think this is the order the cowboys have these guys ranked, correct ?

Im semi expecting us to trade up back into the late 1st and snag Upshaw

Of course not, I don't pretend to be SDogo. But I think that's the short list for the pick at 14.

DeCastro follows around pick 49.

Dude, if you showed up for a job interview with a NFL personnel office and claimed DeCastro was worth no more than the 49th pick of this draft, you'd be hitting the pavement and hear alot of snickering on your way out.

and Bob would handle that gracefully... by calling them fag over over again only to change his name and put on a fake mustache, pretend to be someone else, begging for a second chance.
