10. The Cowboys may not be the best team in the NFL (or are they?), but they now own the league’s best win of the season. The score said the game was close. But it wasn’t. This was a complete domination of a defending Super Bowl champion that had won 19 of 20 at home. The Cowboys gift-wrapped 14 points and still won by seven.
9. Can’t believe I’m typing this, but Orlando Scandrick played better cornerback today than did Richard Sherman. And DeMarco Murray (115 yards) was a far bigger beast than Marshawn Lynch (61).

8. That’s by far the best victory of the Jason Garrett era. Beating the defending champion Giants in New York to open 2012 or the win in Cincinnati the day after Josh Brent’s accident that killed teammate Jerry Brown may be second, but they’re not even close. Seattle had been an invincible bully at home for three seasons, but the Cowboys unceremoniously de-fanged them.
7. The Cowboys are 5-1 for the first time since 2007, when they started 12-1.

6. NFL teams that lose the turnover battle this year are 16-58. The Cowboys are 2-1, with consecutive wins despite losing the turnover margin by a combined 5-2 the last two Sundays.
5. DeMarco Murray joins Jim Brown in 1958 as the only NFL running backs to start a season with six consecutive 100-yard games. And give a huge assist to Jermey Parnell, who filled in for an injured Doug Free and blew open a hole on Murray’s game-clinching 15-yard touchdown run with 3:15 remaining.
4. After a result like this, I’m admittedly nit-picking. But can’t believe the Cowboys won in Seattle after such a disastrous performance by the special teams. Blocked punt for a touchdown. Long kickoff return by Percy Harvin. Fumbled punt by Dwayne Harris. Thirty-five yard punt by Chris Jones. It was ugly. Luckily, it wasn’t fatal.
3. Funny how the smug Pete Carroll stopped arrogantly chomping his gum in the final seconds. Funny and delicious. And priceless.
2. Not sure if it will have any lingering effect or if this season will still be special come December, but the Romo-to-Terrance Williams 3rd-and-20 conversion feels special, and transcendent. Romo spun away from two rushers and lofted a perfect strike to Williams, who made a spectacular diving catch while grazing both feet just in bounds. Cowboys don’t win if they don’t combine for all kinds of miraculous on that play.
