Where would you rank Mo Claiborne and Brandon Carr as a cornerback duo?

At a moment's glance I wanted to put them up there at #1, but they have some stiff competition.

I believe the tandem of Charles Woodson and Tramon Williams is the best in the NFL.

Then the Bengals have Leon Hall coming back from injury and drafted Dre Kirkpatrick, so those two are pretty formidable.

Darrelle Revis is in a class of his own and Cromartie is perty good.

Nmandi Asomugha had an up and down year last year, but we know what he can do, and DRC is a pretty good corner.

I can't think of any others right now, and Brandon Carr isn't a top 5 corner and Mo is just a rook, but I feel that I can safely say that they are the 5th best duo.

What says you guys?

I know what Nnamdi did before he came to the Eagles. I know he's older, and I donb't expect him to be the same player. Right now, I think he's living off his rep. I was glad that we didn't acquire him.

Who cares.

This is the crap espn always talks about that makes everyone hate our team even more.

Jesus, lighten up. Every team has fans that like to rate their team, or positions on the team against others. Nothing wrong with that. Has nothing to do with why people love or hate the Dallas Cowboys. And who really gives a damn if some other fans 'hate' our team even more?

We obviously need to see him (Claiborne) on the field, but if he is what people think he is, our starting tandem with him and Carr is going to rank pretty high.

Also, not many teams have a talented 26yr old as a 3rd/4th CB who's been to a probowl.

I just am sick of hearing about all the talent we have and the dumb section of the fans running around telling everyone how great each player is or whatever.....I am not saying anyone here does that...just the front running idiot I mean.

Need to see Claiborn play first. But if he and Carr are as good as advertised, I'd say were top 5 in the league easily.

I'll say one thing about the Claiborne/Carr duo..it is a vast improvement over Newman/anyone else we he had back there. Throw in Jerome Henderson instead of Campo and I'm excited to see them. I just wish they had real safeties behind them.

Sooner or later we have to address the Safety position and not with JAGs. Whether it's a high pick or take a chance on a talented free agent but I think this fanbase is going to go crazy when they get to see Ryan's attacking style with a real, keep the play/ball in front of you, punishing hitter, Safety back there.

I really like Brandon Carr and from what i see from Claiborne, i think he is a playmaker. I don’t know where they rank among the NFL, but i do believe the Cowboys secondary is vastly improved by these moves. When you have two top corners, you don’t negreat safeties. The Jets didn’t anyone special back there and had the #1 defense the past few seasons.

more than anything I think have a defensive coordinator with a secondary coach he prefers is a huge difference. We have had all kinds of communication issues and breakdowns.....

and for the longest time we had wade stuck with campo, then last year ryan stuck with campo.

now we finally have a coordinator with his guy running the secondary......Having Jenkins, scandrick, mo and carr with poole who already knows the scheme can only make our secondary better exponentially.

Yea, exactly. I still like Sensabaugh too. He was one of the few playmakers last season. I hate sounding like a homer, but i do like the improvements the defense is making.

Incomplete, haven't seen anything from them while in a cowboys uni.

Based on what We have seen out of them they "should " be quite the duo...

Tempering my enthusiasm as I have been burnt by getting overlying excited about unproven players...

I hesitate to rank them without seeing them play together and within the scheme.
I will say I have high expectations from Claibourne/Carr as starters, and look forward to them being highly regarded league wide.
