I don't think defenses will learn to stop it so much as the offenses will learn that it's a bad idea to run it when their QBs are out for 4-6 weeks every season.

While I know Ginger Genius isn't going anywhere, how did the particulars of the Gailey firing go?

Campo was basically fired a few weeks before the end of the season as Jerry courted Bill. Wade got fired during the season. Was Gailey fired the day after the season ended, or did it take a few days? It's been so long I don't remember.

There's a 75% chance that Jerry's GRAND BIGHUGE CHANGE will be to bring in a Bernadette-caliber assistant coach or player and talk him up like the next great thing in all of sports.

Although, it is telling that since both Gailey and Parcells departed the organization later than Black Monday, Jerry had no choice but to scramble and find guys like Wade and Campo. He might be playing it safe this time and making sure that his top guy is locked down prior to firing Garrett. Could explain the delay in his internal staff meeting, because if he has time to go around getting interviewed by random radio stations, then he surely would have found the time to meet with Ginger and the staff by now.

I'd definitely take a Lovie Smith, Sparano and Norv package as consolation prize though. I think Holmgren, Gruden, and Norv would all be great for Romo. It'll be very frustrating if nothing happens at all. We all thought they'd go heavy on oline in FA and the draft, but we ended up worse off than what we started with. I could see that happening again with the coaching staff and with any other deficient units.

"You want Konz, Nicks, and/or Grubbs? Here's Livings and Bernadeau instead. They'll be better. Now STFU and go buy some lingerie downstairs."
