SAN ANTONIO -- Cowboys starting defensive end Marcus Spears limped off the practice field on Thursday during a team drill.
Spears went down after a block and was slow to get up. He limped to the side where he was looked at by trainers Jim Maurer and Britt Brown. Coach Wade Phillips and fellow nose tackle Jay Ratliff also spoke with Spears.
Spears, escorted by Maurer, limped to the locker room.
The type of injury is undetermined. But it appears to be a leg injury.
