But if you stay put, other guys will be there at 14 who still fit a need, be it on the OL, DL or perhaps OLB. If we were one game-changer away from something special, I could see the wisdom, but that's not the case (sorry, optimists). And moving up from 14 to say 11 will cost them at least a third, not a bargain rate fifth.

It might, but then again it might not. Might be a 4th. Or maybe its a 5th and a bit player or late pick next year.

And even if it is a 3rd, if its a guy you are 100% sold on and that player goes onto to doing what you think he will, it was worth the investment.
