I've been disappointed by the amount of resources the team has devoted to the offense this off season. I think it is easier to build a prolific offense than a prolific defense in this league. It stinks to have another one of these sparse new offensive additions sidelined.

Cowboys rookie WR Coale broke bone in foot

Cowboys rookie WR Danny Coale will undergo surgery to repair a broken bone in his left foot.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, it's a broken fifth metatarsal that should keep Coale out a month. The Cowboys hope to have Coale on the field early in training camp, but the missed practice time will set the fifth-rounder back in his competition for the third receiver role. Andre Holmes, Kevin Ogletree, Dwayne Harris, and undrafted rookie Tim Benford are also vying for the job.
