Always entertaining.

Jason loves the character and culture of this team, says he's not sure he's ever been around a better team in that area. :lol

Some dude is missing the first two weeks of practice bc he got hit in the eye with a paintball. :lol (Who?)

Steve won't talk about McClain. On reserved-didn't report list along with Gregory.

Steve, Jerry, and Jason all say the media should focus on the good things this team has, not the missteps. :lol Says every team has suspensions and it's a societal thing. (Oh, so you're forced to bring in the idiots and headcases?)

What gives you confidence in pass rush? Garrett: Competition, young players improving, Marinelli and Leon Lett are great coaches. Culture and environment will be right. :jerkoff

Archer: Does McClain want to play football? Steve (almost angrily): Already discussed he's on the DNP list, won't talk on that.

Steve still touting OL. They're so proud they've drafted well at one position group, like that validates everything they do.

Why not just cut McClain now and send a message? Jerry: Lot of nuances. Won't discuss it. Cap, etc.

JJT asks Garrett about his tolerance for troubled players. (Have to eat a little crow bc there have been more questions like this than I expected.) Of course Garrett just speaks more meaningless cliched nonsense about how much they investigate backgrounds before they sign people, etc.

Jerry: Nick Foles not an option. Why? They already have four QBs. Steve says we have to develop someone.

No Foles but Jerry bitter that he did not land Lynch who would have been the upgrade over Kellen Moore and obviated the need for Prescott. Uh, so why do you like the backup QBs you have? Other than Prescott's intangibles and Moores knowledge of the system.

Jerry says we have 4 QB's? I see one on the roster that counts for anything.

Im so tired of hearing Garrett talk about culture and environment as if that will somehow magically make up for PS level talent on the DL. Oh, I forgot the "competition" factor that will put them over the hump. And for some reason, 6 years in and Jerry and Stephen are still buying that empty rhetoric and peddling their own. Its like the 3 stooges in 2016.

Media asks Jason about Foles. Jason gives proper answer of "we are always looking to potential upgrades and acquisitions 365 days per year" (paraphrased).

Media asks Jerry about Foles: "Foles is not an option!!!" Jerry barks claiming that we could not find him snaps with 4 QBs.

First off, regardless of if acquiring Foles is a proper move, he is better than the scrubs behind Romo. A lot better.

Second, way to pants your coach in front of the media.

Danny Paul on the Ticket called Jason Garrett "Jerry's bitch" just a few minutes ago on the air.

They act like acquiring Foles will prove that they screwed up not addressing back-up QB.

First off, they did.

Second, a player became available. Ask yourself is he better than Moore, Prescott, and Flowers. When that answer is obviously yes, you inquire about the player's availability and pull the trigger. This team wastes so much time making horrible moves and then trying to justify those horrible moves. Fuck.

:coolbeer

Here's the way I read that situation, though: They've already decided they think Foles sucks and can't play. But Garrett is such a spineless politician whose first concern is having everyone like him, he gives the generic answer you mentioned. Jerry just comes out and says they aren't interested.

So I don't think that's Jerry undermining him, it's just Jerry being honest about what they'd already decided.
