Sturm says we led for about 28 minutes last night. I'm embarrassed to even be asking this but I can't even figure out how he came to that number.
Looks to me like we took the lead 2 mins into the game. 11 mins later NY tied it. So that's 11 mins w the lead there. 7 mins after that we took the lead with 10 mins left in the 2 qtr and never relinquished it.
How does he get 28 mins ?
We had the lead the ENTIRE 2H...isn't that already 30 mins right there?
I'm dumb. Sorry
Here's an excerpt from his piece
But, credit the Cowboys. Credit them for playing with a lead for most of the night. In fact, they led for 28:21 of the game, which may not be a number that impresses you until you hear this next stat. In all of 2012, in all 8 home games, they led their opponent for a total of 36:36. Trust me, last night was a rarity to lead for that long.
