NFLN guy (I think Rappaport) came on and said the Jets outbid the Cowboys by 4 million to sign McCown. I checked online today and some of the local NY news is picking this up too, so it seems like it might be accurate.
He signed a 1yr deal worth 6 mils, so we offered McCown 2 mils to be Prescott's backup.
Seems like they arnt exactly 100% bought in on Moore being the backup, as some believed. Otherwise they wouldn't have put this out there.
Tells me that once camp ends and the last cut downs come in, another veteran backup may be here as the #2
