Thursday night football viewership numbers dropped from 16.2 million viewers from the previous season on Fox down to 9,58 million this season on Prime Video which also includes the local channels for each game

I’m curious to see what the move from Direct tv to YouTube TV will do to the rest of the games viewership numbers.

I’m sure it will do wonders for new YouTube tv subscriptions!

Not sure how I missed this from Wednesday but this is good stuff Scott and thanks for posting. The NFL is bullet proof. They'll get their money and these streaming services are going to pay the price in the end. TNF was unwatchable for me. And the commercials were just off the charts. Usually by the 4th quarter, the networks made their money and the game has some flow. Not so with TNF. Just commercial, after commercial, after commercial. It was painful to watch.

All-time record for them and resulted in millions of new subscribers.

The league doesn't care about ratings. Doesn't need to, just like Jerruh doesn't care about attendance.
