The sooner some of you realize it the better.

People want to blame Garrett, Romo, Ryan, etc...no, it doesn't matter. No coach will come in here w this sorry group of players in the trenches and do any better.

Until this team has an offensive line that can pass protect and open holes in the run game... Or at the very frickin least, do one or the either consistently, this offense has no chance.

Until this defense gets another player, probably even 2 more, who can consistently create pressure, then this defense won't get any better either.

So if you want to blame Garrett or Jerry for picking the groceries then that's fine. But this team has a plethora of holes in the most important positions on the field-outside of QB

the offensive line will get redone.

Hard to blame the defense for the other night though, I mean there were 5 starters out of the lineup for most of it.

That is tough on any defense.

I don't blame the defense.

I blame it entirely on the offense. I blame it on an owner too obsessed with flash than substance.

We have an offense that is average 16 points a game thus far, and every week has either allowed either a defensive score, or at the very least, turned the ball over giving the opponents field position inside the red zone.

The defense is being put in bad spots and is staying on the field too long because the offense can't sustain drives.

We can win with this defense. But we can't do shat with this offensive line. And the organization refuses to do anything about it.

Nonsense. We're playing way below our talent level. Were people saying we didn't have the players when we whipped the Giants?

Naw, there is no excuse for the mess we've seen so far. It's the 2012 NFL where every team has to work around weaknesses.

This defense has the ability to be sound. At best.

It has no chance to be dominant and disruptive.

Not blaming the D at all for Monday night. Just stating the facts

Find me another team that is equally deficient in both trenches that's better than us.

How did that OL play against the Giants, who everyone said had maybe the most disruptive front four in all of football? Did they suck then?

And the defense will be getting back Ratliff and Spencer, and has been fine for the most part anyway. Not worried there.

It's the offense that is killing us. Our OL isn't great, but no way should we be bottom two in the league because of one injury to our center who wasn't great anyway. You just don't want to think that it could be the coaching not getting the most out of what we do have.

The offense has no excuse to be playing the way it is. The defense at least monday was missing rat, coleman, spencer, albright, church and carter for the first half. We basically were playing with the 2nd half preseason defense at one point.

what is it with the fourth game also...this team always has problems.

in 07 we killed the rams but it was a sloppy game and romo made his signature play.

08 was the skins game at texas stadium where we couldnt run the ball and snyder was jumping up and down in the elevator celebrating in front of the dfw media.

09 was the game at denver where marshall made the play late on newman and we couldnt score from the 10 and lost.

10 was the crazy game against the titans where we lost on that bogus penalty called on columbo for falling down celebrating, which has never been called again and happens on a regular basis, not one other official has ever called that and it cost us a game.

11 was the detroit game with the insane second half.

and now the bears game with the bizarre second half.

Doesn't have a fucking coach either.

If Dallas didn't have Romo, Garrett wouldn't have a job. Romo does so much to make up for the shitty scheming, shitty play calling and total ineptitude of Red Jesus that it really isn't even funny.

Monday night, Chicago scheme to get Victor Butler into coverage against Brandon Marshall. Anyone ever seen Garrett do that?

Defense has played well against who? A bunch of shitty offenses. The defense is good, I'm not saying otherwise. But it's not disruptive enough. How many sacks and turnovers do we have? Not nearly enough.

The crux of the issues are in the offensive line. I agree w that. Why the fuck can't we run the ball? AT ALL?

I agree 100%. Other than OL, this team int lacking any talent at all.

The OL is bad. The defense is the same as its always been. It cant make big plays or come up with any pass rush consistently (outside of Ware). The special teams are poor other than Bailey and whomever punts for us.

It isnt lack of talent, its lack of focus and discipline. They cant execute.

I agree with this but I dont think you need a disruptive defense to win in the NFL as long as you have a good offense. Oh wait

with the kicker we have, we should be able to win with this defense right now without question.

the offense for the first time since 08 is the group that is screwing everything up.

We have talent in the wrong areas. We don't have pressure players. We can win w this defense. It would be easier if we had pressure players helping our shitty offense by taking the ball away. Or even scoring their damn selves.

We need a pressure 5tech and a pressure OLB.

To go along w a brand new oline

How much talent do they need? Good grief man, even with the injuries the other night we still trotted out the best pass rusher in the league, one of the best ILB's in the league. One of the deepest, more talented CB corps in the league

Enough with the excuses. The defense isnt great because the scheme/DC is mediocre. There's plenty of talent.

Last time I checked, DeMarcus Ware was one of the elite pressure players of all time.

How many elite players does a defense need before it can be good? Hey here's a hint for Ryan too, dont try and cover the other teams best WR with a gimpy safety.

This defense isn't even close to being great. That's my point. It's good. That's it.
