We need a backup and a future succesor. I would rather have him turn into a starter than someone we can trade, like the Eagles are doing with Foles. If Vick was in Dallas we'd still be stuck with him.

Most good qb's are high picks we don't have enough talent to win around a 3rd round qb

That's what I'm saying. I don't have the exact figures but like 95% of the time those mid-late round lets take a flyer on this guy picks are completely useless. They take practice reps and flash a little something in preseason when they stop having to run the offense and just wing it, and then 4 years later they're out of the league and the most they ever did for you was hold for XPs.

And it's like we're 8-8 and hanging by a thread we need all these picks.

Out best bet is obviously to scrap it All.

Teams should only use FA for picking up roll players and on the rare occasion a missing piece to their team. All FA are to over priced.
