Just said his little biddy on the team told him those three have made the team.

He also said they are not sure what to do yet with Holmes and coale.

Said there is a chance on keeping 7.

Steve said neither will make it to the practice squad if cut. Big decision.

I think Holmes would survive on the PS. He hasn't really distinguished himself. Now this is a guy that had the most opportunity to lock down the #3 spot and just didn't do it. He came into camp failing a conditioning test, and then just never went forward.

You can't keep Holmes. You can't keep 7 receivers.
You'd think so, but like theebs mentioned, Bill Jones specifically brought this up to Dennis and he said Babe claimed they might well keep 7. And we know how plugged in Babe is.

And Dennis acted like his (or Babe's) source said oh no, you can't cut either of those guys because Holmes is big and fast, and Coale was a draft pick. I was thinking, who cares if someone signs them? And Holmes especially. People act like this guy is Randy Moss or something... Looked it up and he's 6-4 and ran a 4.53 at the combine. Those aren't otherwordly numbers. And he's not even a rookie. If the guy can't produce, get rid of him.

But this team loves its pet projects.

You can get a project receiver every year.

7 receivers is excessive, especially considering the glaring needs we have on this team.

Seriously.

You can find plenty of less developmental prospects than Holmes every year too.
