then when we play ny, philly, baltimore and pittsburgh we are going to get beat by 50.

They throw down the field all day long, deep in, deep post, deep comebacks....

you cant just lineup and play zero coverage all day.

Of course not...but it's essentially what we have w our 2 safeties..two guys who can't cover deep

Alot of people are still talking like Dallas still has newman and jenkins starting at CB that over the top help is needed on every play. Carr and Claiborne are different types of players. Guy who can cover who can keep a wr in front of them. Yes there is a need for a FS on this team but its not as much of a need as before.

The way Carr is able to Jam WRs at the LOS will produce ints for sensabaugh and church due to time problems and WR not being where theyre supposed to on timing patterns. Guy has been the only CB i have seen to be able to handle Dez. ONly guy thats done what Carr has done is Revis but that was after Dez cramped up.

I think it will produce more sacks than INTs--- in fact, when they were talking about Claiborne getting "burned" for a TDs and long passes from guys like Radway and even Dez, it was later mentioned that Romo would have actuially been sacked, because the coverage by Cliaborne was so good. So I'll take either one.

We throw alot of deep routes as well, and so far there hasnt been any talk of people getting over the top on him.

Yeah, especially because MacMahon is like his personal promoter.

Not a surprise though. We knew Pool sucked. Church seems like a player and he can play TEs while Sensabaugh stays deep if we think we need more speed back there.

But not letting someone behind you is more about smarts and instincts than pure speed anyway. And Church seems smart.
