Why not just cut to the chase and trade our pick for Mark Sanchez and tell him to dye his hair and grow some bitch tits

It is. Because I'm wondering as to how effective Watts would be if the defense was on the field ALL THE TIME... because of constant 3 and outs?

Right. JJ Watt is a system product. How many sacks do you think he would have gotten hear? 7? 8?

I didn't say anything about him being a system product. What I was saying... is that due to the ineptness of our offense, and their inability to sustain drives, resulting in constant 3 and outs, that eventually that wears down on a player. Right when the defenders get off the field and take their helmets off, they have to go right back on the field because our offense either turned the ball over or punted it away.

And then there's the way Ryan only likes to rush 3... do you really think Watt would even have 7-8 sacks right now? I doubt it.

Any way you slice it, you devalue the player when you say, "well if he were this and this he wouldn't be as good." The dude would be awesome wherever he goes.

That's your opinion and a copout. We don't know how he would work out here. Once again, it wouldn't matter how mnay sacks he would have or could have gotten here, IF ultimately it doesn't result in turnovers or 3 and outs by the opposing offense. And if the our offense is not putting up points... then what is the point?

Sorry, but if the Cowboys cannot get it done on defense with the players we have now, then bringing in your Great White Hope, wouldn't make a difference either.

You've obviously never watched him play. And you're right, we couldn't use more pass rush. Right.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that Watt would have been superior to/more productive than Coleman, Hatcher or Spears, and the better overall squad you field, the greater likelihood of more wins.
