Should Suh Be Suspended For Cowboys Playoff Matchup?

Video Clip Here:

Once Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh stepped on Aaron Rodgers' ankle, his availability for Sunday's playoff matchup with the Dallas Cowboys immediately became in doubt.

In the second half of yesterday's 30-20 loss to the Packers, Rodgers was laying on the ground when Suh appeared to back pedal, initially stepping on Rodgers' left ankle accidentally, but then taking another step and putting the rest of his weight on the second step before moving on. Rodgers hopped up and had words for Suh, but no flags were thrown on the play.

The combination of Suh's history and the mountain of video evidence, the NFL has a tough decision on their hands. Last week, Lions center Dominic Raiola was suspended for the Week 17 matchup with the Green Bay Packers for his stomp on the ankle of Chicago Bears defensive lineman Ego Ferguson, but Raiola's incident was much more clear than Suh's.

Was the video evidence clear enough to show that Suh stood on his ankle with intent? Does Suh's history qualify him for a suspension as a repeat offender? Will it be a fine or even a suspension that's part of a game and not the whole game? Those are questions the NFL will answer sometime this week before Sunday's matchup in Dallas.

He is suspended. Just announced.

Where are all the "League hates the Cowboys" posts...

It aint official till see he isn't with the team or deactivated...he is appealing

That said, he pretty much deserves it...he's been a knucklehead for awhile now and how stupid do you have to be to pull a stunt like that just one week after your dirty shit teammate pulled that crap he did and got whacked for a game?

Jim Caldwell really running a tight ship up there.
