Tim Tebow has agreed to a five-year deal worth $33 million, according to multiple reports. The contract includes $8.7 million in guarantees.

Last week, Cowboys first-round pick Dez Bryant signed a five-year, $11.8 million contract that includes $8.5 million in guarantees.

Bryant went 24th overall, Tebow was selected the next pick at No. 25.

But according to a report by ProFootballTalk.com, that $33 million figure is the "absolute maximum." Tebow's base salary will be $11.25 million -- less than Bryant's -- but could rise substantially with a number of playing time and performance-based escalators.

Yesterday, NFL Live's Ed Werder reported that Tebow was seeking more money than Bryant. Tebow had a brief holdout, a move that didn't sit well with Broncos coach Josh McDaniels. The Broncos sent picks in the second, third and fourth round of the draft to the Ravens for the spot to get Tebow.

"You're missing time and you can't afford to miss it," McDaniels told Tebow, according to Werder. "You're not going to get these snaps back."
