Jerry Jones told Bob Costas over the weekend that Jones the owner would have fired Jones the G.M. by now. After Sunday night’s loss to the Falcons, the Cowboys may have tried to fire both guys.

According to Matt Barrie of NBC 5 in Dallas, “Jerry Jones just pounded [the] locker room door because no one would let him in. It’s the angriest I’ve seen him all year.”

Like him or not, the guy owns the team. He has every right to be in the locker room after the game. So we can understand why he’s mad.

Jones should be more upset about the team’s performance. Since looking like a Super Bowl contender on the first night of the season, the Cowboys have won two and lost five.

I would have asked "What do you want?" as he was walking in.

I would have gotten fired just like he fired Jimmy.

I really think his kids are going to step in soon and force some changes. No inside knowledge or anything, just a feeling. He's always been an embarassment in my mind but I think his family is growing tired of his act.

Never going to happen.

The team continues to be mediocre at best and he keeps saying incredibly dumb things. I just think the family, especially Stephen who has stood up to Jerry before, is thinking about the long term health of the franchise and is getting tired of looking like a family of jackasses.

And remember, people said there was no way Steinbrenner would ever give up control. He did. People said there was no way Jerry would bring in Parcells as well.

We don't need a stadium. Sales are through the roof. We're on prime time every third week, and Goodell says we'll host another SB soon.

No way does Jerry make a change. He'll hold his position until he's in the grave. Him dying is our only hope.

Dude I think Steinbrenner was forced out of the MLB for a bit. That's why things changed there.

I'm not for certain though bc no one under age 60 gives a fuck about baseball, and from what im told, Yankee fans are an embarassing cesspool of mouthbreathing front runners (kinda like Laker fans).

Things won't change in Dallas unless they hit rock bottom and Jerry feels he has no choice but to bring in a real HC who has some control and authority. I'm hoping for Payton or Gruden but this team needs to fall apart first. Hopefully that begins in Philly on Sunday with a 49-7 beatdown.

Even if we go on a run, so what? It would only prove that we can take advantage of bad teams.

The idea of Jerry turning the knobs and not getting in is kinda funny to me.

The idea that players/coaches intentionallly locked him out gives me hope.

Er, I'm a Republican. My pic makes sense because W, like Jerry, tried to open a locked door.
