Assuming this means he is staying, even Jerruh would probably have canceled his PC if he had thoughts of canning him later this week.

Apparently this is from the PC. Stole this from CZ:

Garrett said he has no intention of giving up playcalling and thinks it will be best for Romo to keep the offense the same.

So congrats folks, we're bringing back the same inconsistent offense we've had for the last six years! Maybe in ten years one day Garrett and/or Romo will master it

Playcalling for next year? Garrett says too early to talk about it, but 'would anticipate the status quo.'

‏Asked about Rob Ryan for next year, Garrett said he won't get into staff discussions right now but that he has a lot of confidence in Ryan.

Rob Ryan faced "a real challenge" this year because of injuries, Garrett said. Not that they talk about injuries.

Garrett says Cowboys did a better job this year of finishing games, that they did not do a better job Sunday night.

Garrett said ball sailed on romo on first pick, didn't get a good view of ogletree.

Garrett said suck it Sacamano for trying to blame Ogletree.

No changes to staff. No HC change. No changes in way team is doing things.

Status quo= we can all look forward to 8-8 season again next year

Interesting how Jerry Jones intends on selling this team to the fans next season. Status quo won’t do it for most. I am fine with it because once you commit to a head coach, you have to give him at least 3 seasons. Jones also has to put a real offensive line and defensive line on the field instead of blaming the coaching staff.

The status quo can actually be good ash fuck it. This offense sucks. Even if they master it, it is outdated.

Garrett has had 5 years. 2 1/2 years as HC and prior 2 1/2 as co-HC.

Heard it in the car today. I can't tell if this arrogant mofo really believes he's doing as great a job as he acts like, or if it's all an act to fool people. Either way it's infuriating. Don't see how anyone can stand to listen to him.

I've often wondered as to whether he goes back and look at the games/film, and questions himself as to what he would have done different. What he should have done different. But now with this status quo shit... I have my answer.

Doing the same thing over (status quo), and expecting a different result = insanity.

The fact tha the got swept by the fuckling Skins and failed to have winning season for the second time in a row, is reason enough to fire him.

1.) The offense is outdated.
2.) The offense is the easiest to disect for oppoants.
3.) The playcaller is predictable.
4.) The playcaller is arrogant and stupid, in his refusal to make adjustments when needed.

THIS IS THE STATUS QUO otherwise known as... wait for it... THE PROCESS. Welcome to SUB .5000 next year, boys.
