Other than Seattle, at least we're not playing any boring/shitty teams. Every Sunday will be entertaining and full of good storylines

Seattle is going to be a tough game seeing we have to fly from New York to Dallas, then all the way to Seattle.

Those coast to coast games are a bitch. We might go 0-2 to start the season.

They have 11 days to get there. If they use time zones as an excuse, it's bc Garrett has no idea what he's doing still.

We start off on the road, right? In New York?

Then we go to Seattle. It's still a lot to fly to New York then fly to Seattle the following week.

I didn't mean we were flying directly from New York right after the game.

Not really. Neither is a cross-country trip. And they're hardly being physically taxed by sitting down for a few hours.

We did that (east coast week 1, west coast week 2) last year and it does suck but this year at least we have a long break after the initial Wednesday game and that second Sunday game.

In all serious, for me I don't see us as a playoff team again. I have no idea what our record is but I think we are two off seasons from being a real coontender.

Now having romo is the wildcard, if he is healthy the whole year and the defense is above average we will be in the mix for the playoffs.

Right now we have a lousy defense, two injury waiting to happen running backs, no third wr, no backup offensive tackle....center is a huge question mark..

Most imoportantly the secondary doesn't look much better to me today, the center position looks like a real problem and now Spencer is going to miss the offseason possibly.....like he is going to show up in good shape ready to go in July after that...

Then you throw in the Jerry factor and garrett's inexperience and it seems like another .500 type season to me.

But the positive is if we have a good draft and the free agents worked out we should play better, but with the schedule we have I just dont see the playoffs as of today. The giants and eagles are just better and the skins play better defense than we do.

The issue this year will be the 4 games 16 days in 3 cities preseason into a weird wednesday night game.....

Well, it's still two road games in a row. We might think it's no problem, but for the players it is. Still a long trip overall.

Chill. We'll be no worse than 1-1. In fact, I'll stake Bob's life on it.

Crap.
So many ifs with this team.
I'd like to think some unknown or marginal guys will step up and we go through the division like Taco Bell through a vegan.
Theebs said Romo is our wild card.I believe that is right and the faint hope I cling to.
So 9-7 with a couple of brain numbing losses in there somewhere.

We're better than the Giants. We should be 2-0 to start.

I think we'll start out 3-1 going into the bye actually. We are solid when healthy. We're fucked in December though. Unfortunately, we don't seem to have much of a home field advantage either so 5 of the final 7 in Dallas doesn't hold much weight IMO.

Also, Garrett really has been fucking us over since 2009. I just hate that ginger clown so much.

You'd have to think another 8-8 year (or worse as many experts are predicting) would speed up Jerry's timetable on Garrett. Jerry is a clown, but he's a clown that wants to win, and Romo/Witten/Ware don't have a lot of top years left.

Do you think a single team in the league would have hired Garrett to be HC the last two seasons, and/or for this upcoming season?

We have a GM, a head coach, and media guy (spagnola) that would not hold the same job for any other team in the NFL. Garrett could have a few years back but no longer.

Agreed. That's probably a slight issue.

I would rather have it speed up the timetable on Jerry.
