Dez Bryant doesn't care about starting

First-round pick Dez Bryant will set foot onto the Cowboys' practice field in San Antonio this weekend after finalizing his rookie contract with the team on Thursday. In two-receiver sets at least, he probably won't be running with the first-team offense.
And he's okay with that.
"Don't get me wrong," Bryant said. "I would love to start, but I don't care about it. I just want to earn my playing time and do whatever it takes to help this team."
Bryant worked as the Cowboys' third receiver during OTAs, and is expected to supplant Patrick Crayton on punt returns. In Bryant's way for a starting job is Roy Williams, one of the NFL's worst wideouts last season. Williams struggled with separation and blocking, and dropped too many passes.
We suspect Bryant will eventually land on the Cowboys' first string because of his talent. It may take awhile, though. Teammate Miles Austin didn't begin starting until Week Five of last season, and Austin is arguably the best receiver in the league.
