"I was absolutely too headstrong. And he might have been a little headstrong, too. I think both Kraft and myself, retrospectively, would have done things a little differently."
:WTF
What a blowhard! Why would Kraft want to change things? His team basically became the standard by which all teams are measured since he left. ~facepalm~

Plus I seem to remember Kraft coming out and saying (obviously) he was glad how things turned out.

It was in an article or something that talked about how he matured as an owner from when he started, and how he acknowledged he adn Parcells clashed, but he also said he was glad how things turned out.

This doesn't ever really get brought up... but I can't believe Parcells had the audacity to negotiate with the Jets for the head coaching gig while his own team was preparing for the Super Bowl.

That is unforgiveable in my book.

Hall of Fame disqualifying, IMO.

That is the big difference between Kraft and Jerry in my opinion. Kraft learned and changed.

Jerry has changed but still wants to inject himself in the process

Yeah, but from Jerrys perspective, he could care less because while the Patriots are a dynasty, they're still not worth as much as Jerry's Cowboys.

Ha, exactly. Bill's trying to say Kraft screwed up, when in reality things turned out perfectly for him. In fact if Parcells stays around, who knows if Belichick even winds up there the same way.

And I agree with what Mid said about negotiating with other teams during Superbowl week. Inexcusable. Not for the HOF, necessarily, but for a coach to do that? Incredible. The ultimate lack of loyalty from a guy who asked his players to all be with him.

And trying to get the Giants GM job while he was here out in the stadium parking lot the morning of a game isn't much better.
