Looking to purchase this thing...I've been a bit leary because I wasn't sure if I'd have the time to take full advantage of it..just a few questions for those who do have it

1) usually how long does it take to watch the coaches film of a game?

2) is there a rewind button? Seems to me like I'll need to watch one play multiple times to get a sense of the different players I'll be looking at...how easy is it to just rewatch the same play?

3) how would you grade the package overall?

4) any other features outside of the coaches film that you use?

Any other thoughts/comments would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance

its awesome.

yes there is a rewind back to the start of the play button, and you can jump to each individual play in a list.

doesnt take long to watch the game via coaches film...like 30 minutes or so.

If you are someone who likes to watch all the nfc east games or just any game in general its more than worth its price, even without the coaches film.

they have games archived back to 09, so if you havent been recording the games and want to go back and watch some older games they are there.

for 70 bucks its a steal.

I wish they would build a huge library and archive games from every year. I would pay big time for that....being able to watch like the 77 or 91 seasons this easily would be amazing.

best part about it to me, Ipad App.....awesome on the ipad.

click coaches film, it should be right below the screen, or in full screen telestrator mode on the side.

I was expecting to see Mo getting safety help on just about every play..I've been keying in on him specifically and he had a great game...not nearly as much help over the top as i expected

I love it. I don't like the forward/back 10 seconds thing, prefer 4 like on youtube (left/right arrow keys). Plus I don't like the interface, you don't have to limit it to the windowed mode they offer, where they show 2 or 4 tiny games in one area. You can open new windows (or new tabs, if you want to roll that way) and watch multiple games full size.

I screen grab entire games and watch/edit offline for those reasons (can't make these very easily with game rewind: http://imgur.com/a/9qSkS#0 - frame by frame view of Doug Free's Zoidberg scuttle on Romo's helmet to helmet). The NFL is scouring everywhere for coaching film, btw, so I won't upload as I've already almost lost my youtube account over it.

Coaches film usually gets released tuesdays. It's like an hour to an hour and a half for coaches film.

Keyboard shortcuts that gives the interface a passing grade:

http://gamerewind.nfl.com/nflgr/help_en_US.htm
You can access select features of NFL Game Rewind by using the following keyboard shortcuts.

Space bar - Play or pause the video
Left arrow - Move back 10 seconds in the video
Right arrow - Move forward 10 seconds in the video
Up arrow - Increase the volume
Down arrow - Decrease the volume
Home button - Go to beginning of video
End button - Go to end of video
M-key - Mute or unmute sound
F-key - Enters full-screen mode
Esc - Exit full-screen mode

Due to security features in Adobe Flash, only the following keyboard shortcuts can be used while in full-screen mode.

Space bar - Play or pause the video stream
Left arrow - Move back 10 seconds in the video stream
Right arrow - Move forward 10 seconds in the video stream
Up arrow - Increase the volume
Down arrow - Decrease the volume
Esc - Exit full-screen mode

Please note, after exiting full-screen mode NFL Game Rewind will not be the active window and keyboard shortcuts will not work. To make NFL Game Rewind the active window, simply click anywhere on the player and keyboard shortcuts will work as expected.

And here's the remaining schedule, game rewind version, for no reason other than to make a long post really long.

I have a "veritable plethora" of Cowboys games back to 1970 on DVD or in mpg or avi format...

Do u by chance have a list? Would love to see what games you have. I am in the process of making mine.

I want to make a blog here at some point and one of the things I would like to do is have a few pages for trading.

I can never find the time to tie up my computers burning the games to blu ray but it is something I am determined to do this year.

I have pro software to burn but can ot get it right and it is so time consuming I just keep putting it off.
